Soo, here it is! Still can't believe it myself... every once in a while I'll glance down at my wrist and say, "I can't believe I did that." I've said that literally like fifty times in the last 30 hours. But I suppose that's reasonable, after drawing it on with pen ink for the last three or so years. After all that time it's finally real. Crazy. (see [most of] the story behind it here) For all ya'll who are gonna tell me, "just wait, you're gonna want another one": no siree. I don't even like tattoos, so trust me when I say that this is the one and only one I will ever get.
It seems like a piece of cake looking back on it, but actually getting this tattoo was the worst pain of my life. You know how a shot feels when someone who's really bad at giving shots gives one to you? It hurts. This tattoo felt like that. Like someone was literally stabbing me in the wrist with a needle. A hundred times in a row. None of that drawing blood stuff, when they ease the needle into your arm. No. I mean stabbing.
It's all good though. I am now officially part of the Badass Club. Just sayin'. xx

ReplyDeleteWow! I always wondered how badly it hurts to get a tattoo, not that I want one, I was just curious. and considering that I passed out when I got my ears pierced, I don't think I'm going to get a tattoo, like ever. :P
